Using the Beelink GTi14 Ultra mini PC’s recessed PCI-E slot to connect it to an external graphics card, using their EX dock.
PCI-Express is objectively the best way of connecting a GPU to a CPU, and the best way of doing that in a device without a native PCIE x16 slot is Oculink - which only uses up to 4 PCIE lanes of a possible 16. However, Beelink's latest GTi Ultra mini PCs have their own solution, involving a unique way of integrating a full size PCIE slot into their small form factor, and their EX dock enables them to be connected to a wide range of standard PC graphics cards using 8 lanes of PCIE Express 4.0. But even paired with a high-end GPU, can a mini PC's mobile CPU still obtain the kind of frame rates to keep gamers happy?
