Testing six sub-£300 GPUs of varying ages and levels of performance in games which use mandatory ray tracing.

Ray tracing is starting to become mandatory, even if RTX and similarly HW-accelerated GPUs aren't. While games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle have started alarm bells ringing, even Black Myth Wukong and Stalker 2 are using a form of RTGI which can't be disabled - though, at least they don't require RT hardware to do so. Still, "software RT" is pretty intensive, so how do some older & cheaper cards, even ones without RT cores, actually survive?
