We all know Hollywood is guilty of creating and propagating a lot of silly myths. This is very true when it comes to the cinematic version of firearms. Sometimes they fully commit to over-the-top fictional action for sheer entertainment. Other times you see an unusually high degree of realism, or at least some realistic elements. In settings like that it can be odd to also see some absurd stuff.
These are some pet peeves of mine, particularly nonsensical "rule of cool" shenanigans. A good opportunity to debunk misconceptions that a lot of people still seem to buy into, or just don't notice as particularly "off".
