This week I headed to the coast and stayed at the Mablethorpe Camping and Caravanning Club Site as part of the @CampandCaravanning Club’s “Summer of Why Not?” campaign. The weather was roasting, my ice maker packed in, and things weren't quite going to plan, but it turned out to be one of the best beach days I’ve had in ages.

From arcades and seaside snacks to a peaceful pitch, an epic fish and chip dinner, and watching the sunrise alone on an empty beach... This trip had everything. I even found donkeys, a new ice maker, and some lovely seafood!

This is the summer of ‘why not?’ so now I challenge you to try something new!
