For those of us who are losing our vision gradually over time, we sometimes ask ourselves and wonder if we are as visually impaired as we think we are. This can hinder a lot of us from getting cane, assistive technology training, and other blind training. This is something I’ve mentioned in a few other videos, but have not really talked about in further detail. I was also recently interviewed for the ‘Blind Abilities’ podcast where I also briefly talked about that topic along with discussing my sight loss and filmmaking journeys (link below).
