Can a blind or low vision user film videos with the iPhone 13 Pro? This is what I tried to see for myself, no pun intended. As a VoiceOver user I wanted to check out how well the screen reader worked with the camera app. I recently shot a short film using the built in camera in the iPhone 13 Pro. I mention my results and what I liked and disliked about the camera app. I also pondered the question of if the iPhone 13 Pro can be used as a stand alone film camera for creating projects.

I was interviewed by blind filmmaker James Rath on his “See Different” podcast. There, we discussed filmmaking and accessibility in filmmaking, especially on the iPhone.
