Another type of film that I believe has audio description lacking in is films from other countries and in other languages. . It’s a shame because there are many films and TV shows from other countries that rival what the US puts out. It’s interesting watching something from another country since they might approach certain stories and themes in a different way than what an American audience is used to, and I think that many blind folks are missing out on these. I mentioned Squid Game in this video because it’s an example of something from another country being audio described in English and being very watchable. Now I just hope that Parasite gets the same treatment since I’ve been wanting to watch that one ever since it was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars a few years ago.
