The battery looked brand new, but as I only measured it to be about 10V after charging it over night, I had some idea what we would find inside… Only the tightly wrapped plastic has kept this from spreading its toxic fumes inside my newly purcaced 1400LT.. But if the battery is necessary we need to botch up an alternative for testing the computer. This video is all over the place on all of this.. For those of you who have newer worked with NiCd batteries before, you might learn a thing or two.
