I’ve really liked the challenge of making these miniatures, foremost, they make wonderfully handy kiln fillers, secondly, there’s something about a pot that’s this size that makes it extraordinarily sweet and covetable and thirdly, it’s a real test of one’s care and attention and fortitude. Why fortitude? Well, they can be at utter pain as it’s all such fiddly, highly meticulous work.
There’ll be three of these tiny bowls in my next online shop restock, (going live 21 June at 7:00 pm BST). A white vessel, a pale green version, like briefly pictured in this short video and finally a twice fired dark green crackle glazed bowl that’s intensely metallic and delicate.
