The Suck Valley Way is the 8th section of The Ireland Way.

This hiking trail takes in half of the original Suck Valley Way, a really lovely multi-day loop walk nestled in the Hidden Heartlands between Galway and Roscommon. You'll go through woods, past castle ruins, along fields and country lanes while dodging the odd bull.

During the two days I spent walking this section I was constantly watching for storm Ali who was on the way and edging ever nearer. Passing the halfway point of the enrite route I finished this section in Loughlynn.
