When GG played at the Penguin Pub in Youngstown Ohio back in May 1993, I didn’t know that it would be the last time I would see GG alive….until the end of the night. It was the third and final time I saw GG Perform live. I had recently moved from Tampa FL, where we made Carnival of Excess, to Columbus OH. It was a little over a month later when GG met his fate after a chaotic show at The Gas Station in New York City. To this day, I remain bummed out that Carnival of Excess was a posthumous release for GG. He REALLY liked those recordings and said as much in several interviews.
A tip of then hat to the mighty Antiseen in the beginning of this video. Their show brought me to Youngstown this time and it was well worth it! Rocked HARD! They were Amazing. The Westside Bowl is a great venue for shows as well.
