Okay, I barely have any time, and this is INCREDIBLY rushed. School returned with a vengeance and I've had a lot of workload to keep up with, so this is really, REALLY thrown together. I don't even really have the time to make a whole story and type it all out, since I'm going to London in literally nine hours and I'm not ready or washed up yet and I need to sleep, etcetera...
But to keep it brief, second assignment for Reaper's Edit, blah, you guys kind of already know the whole drill by now... xD
The task was for the pairs to run into a person from their past- well, one of them, at least, linking the two of them would've been tricky.
So Cisna and Noct end up tailed by Hope, Noctis' younger brother, (work with me here, Noct is apparently a natural blonde... [/shot]) who is helping out the Composer's side of things, but won't talk about it much because he's a snotty little goody two shoes brat and he doesn't trust Noctis, mainly because his brother was a delinquent and an asshole and a liar and got himself into a lot of trouble beforehand-- Hope's suspicious Noct might turn rogue, even if he does manage not to butt heads with Cisna, thank lord, or he'd be curbstomped by the both of them, easy.
That... probably won't make any sense. Noctis has a habit of walking off if he feels challenged, it seems, and the rest is a lot of memory and just stuff that I have to shove in fast in a panic to reach the time requirement in the few hours I had aroound to edit anything.
Bleh!
And crap, the song cut did NOT go well in retrospect. DDD:

For The Sky Is The Limit; the question thingies are later on. After I have ranted.
Okay, not really ranted. But there is a slight issue with spoilers that I really dont think is much of an issue at all put some people will most likely kick up a fuss.
YES. There are clips from BBS. YES. They are past the opening.
Do they give much away? Not really.
Considering that the clips of Aqua are either from trailers, or an extension of her crying scene, included in the most recent trailer.
They could be anywhere in the game- well, I know specifically where theyre from as I downloaded them, but they could be from anywhere and dont really give much away.
And, NO, Aqua does not shoot herself. My crappy masking is all that made that happen. I dont think I give anything vital away- Vanitas remains masked, Terra is only used in a brief flash to show a connection between Sora and Zack. Ven isnt around either. xDD
Editing parts of Sora are intentional. But I will not say why and only will you get why properly if you get through various plotlines in BBS. :D
Basic plot because I cant be arsed typing a full story- THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BBS PLOT, I ASSURE YOU- Aqua and Zack are together in a flirty teasing kind of way, she wakes up, apparently after 12 years have elapsed though she remains the same age. Looking for Zack, she walks out the building to meet Namine, who with as little as a glance takes her elsewhere, into a memory... A memory from three years earlier. The memory of Zacks death. As he slipped away, he told Aqua he loved her, and she found herself crying, next to Namine, on a dark beach she didnt recognise. Overcome with grief over Zacks death and her missed twelve years, she doesnt hear Namine trying to tell her what happened to Zacks heart or see the attempts to show her a drawing of a dark haired boy... Namine looked at Aqua, smiling-
And Aqua pressed the gun against her temple and pulled the trigger.
Over on his island home, the boy in Namines picture, Sora, finds himself suddenly saddened for no reason whatsoever, staring out to sea. Seeing him in such a reverie, his best friend and crush only smiled, the latter walking up and gently placing her homemade good luck charm in his palm. Sora looked up, saw Aqua for a moment, but soon snapped out of it when Kairi leant forwards and kissed him.
Being the third wheel, Riku tried to ignore the fact his best friends were kissing and instead reminded himself of the last time hed seen that look in Soras eyes, when they were kids and the younger boy was making his first wish on a star. When, as Sora put it, the scary man first appeared in his head. It kept coming back, just flashes and images- followed by a girls face, a girl with blue hair...
Somehow, everything was connected.
There is no coincidence in fate.

Surprisingly, not many. I have a bit of a problem with Yuna and Aerith sometimes, but not so much I actually, yknow, HATE THEIR GUTS AND WANT TO RIP THEM OUT.
What kind of videos do you like to edit most? (e.g. Funvids, dramatic videos, character studies, just flowing with the music etc.)
I try to mix things up and balance masking and stuff with flow. (I hope it works T-T)
What is your major weak point? (let me know what you think is the biggest problem of your editing)
- Im super lazy. If it all looks okay, I dont really care how long the end result is. Im way too anal retentive about my masking and it always comes out off. Also, flashy, hyper effects are a huge problem- I can never vid anything discoey or hyper, because I dont have a proper grasp of any crazy colour mixing or anything. ^^;
And your strong point?
Probably the messing with the story side of things; altering clips and masking in an attempt to make things appear how I want them. xD Also, Im quite proud of my audio editing now (whether it be cutting the song, which I dont do here apart from very very crappy cutting at the end with a stupid white space that somehow ended up blank though I DID put something there and the rendering killed it, OR editing voices to make characters say things they were never supposed to.)")

So Endwalker gave me brainrot. Literally. I have not managed to edit much other than for Tangos birthday in a long long while. Im just a sucker for a parallel and FFXIV lets me do a LOT OF PARALLELS. Shes popped up in some of Amys videos but the blue-haired beech is my FFXIV OC, Astra, who is an Ala Mhigan with some major trauma and a hair-trigger temper.
Major major major thank you to Amy (Blue24601) for undertaking the agonizing process of recording cutscenes for me and drunkenly gposing to get the scenes I wanted.

Two uploads in one day? What the hell happened to me all of a sudden? I mean, I had three short videos all posted one day after another, and now two at once?
Well, the first was my Enough♥ MEP part, which seemed a bit of an annoyance as, as much as I work hard on all these parts and things, theyre always shorter than people like me to post things.
I had a person unsubscribe the other day, shortly after my second beta, and... just felt kind of flat. Because I knew it was my fault, for never pushing out anything long and complicated anymore cause Im trying to get involved with so much at such a stupid time in my life- my last years of compulsory school, which are vital, and I cant slack off like I have done the past few years because its not just about taking papers and exams at the end of each term now- its all coursework this and study that, and its a nightmare!
Still, I soon brightened up when I woke up this morning (okay, more like this afternoon, but Im a teenager, forgive me) to find that ten people subscribed to me over the night. TEN! When I hadnt posted anything! :D I love you guys- especially the people whove been with me since the start. Since having two subscribers was a major achievement. :3
ANYWAY.
About the video/trailer thing
I was so excited when I heard they were making Dear John into a movie- I LOVED the book, read it last year on the plane during my holidays! So naturally I rushed to make a trailer, but searched YT yesterday and found other people had beat me to it and done it much more professionally than I ever could- Rikai and Zerith, I think they were?
I saw the trailer, the real trailer, and the first thing that sprung to mind when I saw/heard Amanda Seyfried was (well, actually, first it was KAREN! MEAN GIRLS! 8D and then it was NEEDY! JENNIFERS BODY! 8D, but after that...) Namine. She just seemed to fit and shes kind of easy to lipsync to sad sounding voices. ^^ And, what with all the letters and stuff like that...
...Well, Psychic sprung up to mind shortly afterwards. Which is why this is dedicated to the amazing Blue (Blue24601) because shes much better at Namiku/Psychic!RikuxPsychic!Nami than Ill ever be and this is kind of the flowiest I will ever get, unlike her amazing editing.
And I do PROMISE I will finish something Psychic!WishFufillmenty soon. Probably when I get the new laptop and after weve moved cause I dont think I can start a decent one and finish it well before then. I fail! T-T
Oh, and Sora and Xemnas appear more than once for a reason; cause Ive read the book and loved it and therefore have to push in a plot point or two, even if the trailer didnt really show them. The cast is kind of obvious, save for maybe the last few people

I had to remake a whole half a minute of this, after my new virgin Vegas decided that even it didnt like a particular FFXIII clip of mine, and once I put a dead Hope scene... refused to open the file.
I know hes adorable, but thats just plain rude.
For all the people out there that cringed at the Namiku in Psychic- here you go. Not Namiku. Well, the end might be, just to bring things round again. Instead, its Hope/Riku as friends (*cough*with benefits*cough*). Seriously, its not my fault! Hope seemed like the type to need a lot of consoling! (And Blue, what happened last night is NOT leaking into this, I swear. ...I think.)
Zexion is kind of popping up in this one whenever Hope isnt clinging to Riku... I guess thats cause I havent used him much before and I thought it would be right for the brothers to have a bit more talk/argue time. Marluxia is just there as a general organisation type dude, the one who picks Riku and Zexy up to take them away.
Uh, the walking bit. Where Rikus facing away from Hope, who looks down, and then says something a bit nasty by the look on his face and walks away? THAT was him saying goodbye and not telling Hope where hes going.
And, to tie things together a little more, Demyx is being genuinely nice to Riku, unlike Zexy and Vexen, who are just mocking him. I thought it would be sweet to link Demyx in there with Riku a bit more, and also would help to explain why Riku would recognise him as the enemy and try and fight him when he turns up to take Nami back...
...I dont know whether or not to kill Hope yet, though. I dont have many clips, Im slowly downloading them one by one. But it seems over for him way too fast! T-T *angsty anguished wailing*")

11 seconds of pure hell. My computer crashed fully twice, and Vegas crashed eight times on its own. D: HD settings suck, seriously. That would have taken me at the most half a minute to render in normal settings, but for Youtubes box size, it took TWENTY MINUTES. ¬.¬ For ten odd seconds of clips.
