When Chris Pock thought outside the box in building the 1.25 mile oval, it gave Gateway International Raceway some character. Seeing fantastic racing and finishes. NOW as the World Wide Technology Raceway, it is set to host its first NASCAR Cup Series race this weekend with the Enjoy Illinois 300. Some might point to favorites like Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Martin Truex Jr to win on a track similar to old Phoenix. OTHERS might choose Ross Chastain, Chase Briscoe, or Cole Custer who have done well here in the past. OR maybe you go with no experience, which Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott have as they have never raced here. There are an abundance of options to choose from in this first race in St Louis.
