The SP-404MKII is the Ultimate Electronic Music Toolbox!
After taking my SP-404MKII on a small vacation this past weekend just so I could rehearse the first set of my upcoming livestream concert, I started to think about just how versatile of a device it really is. I can't think of a single piece of gear that does more than the SP-404MKII, and the best part is that the 404 actually does all of those things at a passable level! It's a fantastic complimentary device for just about any musician, as there are so many ways to use it, and so many ways to get creative with it! I know some people are turned off by the amount of button combinations and shortcuts, but most of them aren't mandatory to learn, and it just gives you more reason to keep exploring it! 1) Create a song three or less minutes in length. The theme of the show is nostalgia, so you can use that to guide your entry if you’d like, but you don’t have to.
2) Include a video element with the track (could be as simple as just filming the gear while you record).
3) Make sure there is no copyrighted or offensive material in your audio or video.
4) ABSOLUTELY NO AI usage will be accepted in either the music or the video.
Submit the track as a .mp4 file to:

Include your artist name/the name you'd like displayed, as well as a social media handle
