The S-1 is my Favorite Portable Synthesizer!
After a week long family vacation to Disneyland, including 2 lengthy car rides, I can comfortably say that the Roland S-1 has become my favorite portable synth. I think it's the perfect blend of onboard controls, built in keyboard, and sequencer, all within a battery powered shell. While some functions are indeed hidden beneath the main menu, you don't really need to go diving to get some basic sound designing or sequencing done! Enjoy the video :)
