The Minifreak is Great for Synthwave!
The Minifreak is heavily pushed as a more experimental synthesizer, and it definitely excels at getting freaky! However, you might be surprised to know just how warm and nostalgic you can get it to sound. There are quite a few synthwave focused preset packs out there, by a variety of sound designers, and a lot of them sound terriffic. I wound up picking one up from Vintage Soundset, and I *love* it. The sounds are so good that the synthwave band, "The Midnight," has even used them on stage before! This isn't a sponsored video, and Vintage Soundset doesn't even know that I bought their pack, I just wanted to showcase how great the Minifreak can be for this style of music! Enjoy the video :)
