This Affordable MIDI Control Unlocked the SP-404MKII For Me! (Synido TempoPad C16)
I've been using the SP-404MKII a lot lately, and I've recently started to get into what it can do via MIDI. Turns out, you can control a massive amount of functions with an external controller, and do things that you'd never be able to do on just he 404 itself. The Synido TempoPad C16 has been my go to pad controller for the SP-404MKII for a few weeks now, thanks to three main functions. It can run off of it's internal battery, it's got physical TRS MIDI jacks, and you can program the whole thing from the device itself without the need for a companion app. Combined with the SP-404MKII, you can control a *lot* of different things at once, including changing two effects bus parameters at the same time!
