lost in a booKCase | The Southern Book Club's Guide To Slaying Vampires || Non-Spoiler Review || By: Grady Hendrix @lostinabookcase3796 | Uploaded September 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
So I'm a Horror newbie (I scare easily, ask Imaginary Friend by Steven C.) but this book to me was more interesting/good-at-making-me-uncomfortable rather than straight up horrifying. But that makes it a good introduction to me! It was easy to read, funny, cheesy and kinda self aware. Some girls in the book club are easy to mix up with one another and it's not really anything deep, but if you want something light but stimulating here you go!
That bathtub scene was indeed kinda gruesome!
