Sompote Sands trained under Eiji Tsuburaya at Toho Studios in the early 1960s, was on set for King Kong vs. Godzilla, and went on to co-produce Jumborg Ace & Giant and Hanuman and the Seven Ultramen with Tsuburaya Productions itself, blending Japanese kaiju spectacle with Thailand's own mythology.
Now, over 300 artifacts from Sompote's personal archive head to auction for the first time. Production suits. Original Tohl Narita paintings. The camera he carried on the set of King Kong vs. Godzilla.
