A dressing room plaque from Winterland Ballroom, gifted to Big Steve Parish by Bill Graham after the iconic venue closed in 1978. The Grateful Dead famously rang in the New Year with a marathon set, opening with “Sugar Magnolia” at midnight after The New Riders of the Purple Sage and the Blues Brothers, and ending with a lavish breakfast for fans at dawn—just as the event flyer promised.

Featuring more than 300 lots, "Treasures from the Golden Road" spans stage-played instruments, road-worn gear, backstage passes, handwritten setlists and lyrics, Jerry Garcia’s original artwork and rehearsal materials, iconic works by Alton Kelley, George Mead, Stanley Mouse, and Herb Greene, as well as correspondence, fan gifts, vintage t-shirts, and more.
