"The Sidewalk Song" was written by songwriter/producer & arranger Jimmy Webb for Johnny Rivers in 1967 which appeared on his "Rewind" album. Richard Harris, with the guidance of Jimmy Webb, recorded "The Sidewalk Song" for inclusion on his 1971 album, "My Boy" and shined on telling the story of the lyrics with emotion unlike any before.
