Hello friends, todays video is about the Dreamblaster X2GS, the successor of the famous X2 made by Serdaco.
The X2GS includes an official licensed Roland GS soundbank (16 MB!) with 16 bit high quality samples and therefore it is a very good choice to enjoy the GM/GS midi-music of your favourite games.
Beside the GS soundbank there is 48 MB free for your prefered user soundbank. You can upload Dream's Cleanwave soundbank or the Buran soundbank as an example. You can easily switch between GS and user bank via midi file.
Note: All tracks are recorded by using the GS soundbank in this video! If you want to hear other soundbanks on the X2 you can go to this video:

I put the X2GS into my X2 enclosure which is optional.
Another nice feature of the X2GS is its USB midi interface, making it possble to use the X2GS on your modern hardware with DOS-Box and without further interfaces. On your retro-hardware it will fit on any soundcard with MPU401 and a wavetable header.
