Hello Friends, the Yamaha TG 100 is - in my opinion - a very good budget module. Normally, it acts as a General-Midi module, but also offers a MT32 compatibility mode called "C/M". And that for a seccond-hand price of 50-100 EUR at the moment.
In this video I want to answer the question if the TG100 therefore is a good alternative to an expensive Roland MT32.

Note: The MT-32 music was recorded with my Roland RA-50 in MT-32 mode as I don't habe an MT-32 myself. But the RA-50 sounds every much the same as the MT-32 if set in this mode- it features the same internals / LA-Synthesis.
(I'm sorry that te sound isn't perfectly synced- my screen-capture software captures audio inadequate so I'd add a high quality audio track manually)
