If you're sectioning vertically and wondering why your hair looks flat with visible part lines, your sections might be working against you.
Vertical sections create partings. Horizontal sections create volume.
When you section horizontally and flop the hair over, you're intentionally stacking curls on top of each other. That height you're after comes from using the parting line to your advantage, not fighting it.
That's curl stacking. And it starts with how you hold your brush before you even touch the gel.
