After nearly a decade of anticipation, Brad Scoggins finally traded his magazine-featured 4Runner for a turnkey masterpiece: the Whiskey Digger [03:16]. This build is a masterclass in long-term reliability and high-performance trail riding. At its heart lies a Mast Motorsports 416 engine, selected for its forged rotating assembly and ready-to-run dyno-tuned reliability [05:12]. To handle that power, we equipped the rig with a rock-solid PTC Turbo 400 transmission and an Atlas transfer case—a choice made for both its legendary durability and the peace of mind that comes with a company that will be around for decades [06:27]. From the Radflo shocks tuned for 7 inches of up-travel [11:42] to the custom 14-bolt axles with Magnum knuckles [09:31], every decision was made to ensure that a trip to Moab is about the trails, not the repairs.
