Back in May of 2019, the Summer Demo was uploaded by a then-contemporary punk group called The Resource Network. Side A, the studio side, was uploaded to bandcamp, and side B, the live side was left tour-only. The YouTube upload of the studio side had their tour schedule, which I anxiously scanned for a date near me. Sure enough, there was one date at The Glove in Brooklyn (R.I.P), and I dragged my Dad out to see it. It was a wild night, and I got two tapes out of it, including the one you're hearing right now. Unfortunately, it was kind of blown-out, and the rip I posted up here sounded way too bassy (not helped by the shitty ripping I was doing back then). This really sucked considering the live songs have never had digital mixes posted.
Anyway, it's now 2022 because Covid timeskipped us all two years, and Chewed Out is still a favorite song of mine. Seriously, if you live in Mid-LI, you've probably heard me screaming along to this song as it blasts out my car stereo. Wonder why my hearing sucks so much, oh well.
So earlier today, I'm just cleaning, and I decide to pop this tape in. I mess around with the bass and trebble settings, and actually made it kind of sound like actual music! So uh yeah, I re-ripped it like that, and here you go.
