With T.D. Jakes stepping down as pastor, Sarah Jakes Roberts dealing with a neck injury, and the recent spotlight being placed on Dexter Jakes Jr., it looks like The Potter’s House may be positioning Dexter as the next major pastoral voice in the house.

In this video, we take a closer look at what appears to be happening at The Potter’s House and why Dexter Jakes Jr.’s recent preaching moment may not have been random. During the 30th anniversary service, Dexter was not only given the platform, but he was also surrounded by language about “glory,” “impartation,” “latter temple,” “new wineskin,” and a new movement beginning in the church. The way the moment was framed sounded much bigger than just a son preaching one sermon.
We also look at the pattern. T.D. Jakes has already passed major ministry responsibility to Sarah Jakes Roberts through Woman Evolve and Woman Thou Art Loosed.
