This slider uses carbon fiber rails and an integrated third rail to enable adjustable, repeatable panning while sliding as one fluid motion controlled by the sliding action.
Four ball bearing wheels guide the large sliding plate on the oversize carbon fiber rails. These are adjustable with the included hex key.
The third rail is a slider that rotates the base plate your adjustable head (not included) mounts to. You can adjust it to always point the camera in to center, or to swing the camera out left and right from center.
Four swing out feet enable use on a table or floor, adjustable screw feet handle uneven surfaces. A center tripod plate with numerous 1/4-20 and 3/8" threaded holes enable tripod mounting. For heavy cameras, both ends of the slider feature 1/4-20 threaded holes for supports.
The large size of the sliding plate means the camera does not travel the full 80cm. You lose about 8 cm on each side. Also, there is some give in the parallax mechanism so it takes about an inch or so to fully engage. This is normal. You do not want it super tight.
Package will ship from NJ and take about a week to deliver, depending on available stock.
