Paris Hilton has built a $4 billion consumer products empire — and more than half of it comes from one category. Fragrance.

Since 2004, she’s launched over 30 scents, helping pioneer the celebrity fragrance model long before it became mainstream.

But Hilton says the real advantage isn’t just being early. It’s being authentic.

While many celebrity brands fade after one or two launches, her products have endured for decades.

Her approach: build a team of top operators — and only create what she actually uses.

“The consumer knows when it’s not really authentic and it's not you” she told CNBC's Tania Bryer.
