I own a lot of open world games, but have very little time to play any of them for any great length of time. I haven't delved deeply into these games since Oblivion, even though I saw fit to pick my share up. This game came with my Xbox One S console that was given to me, and as a game, I cannot tell you how it plays in comparison to something like Obsidian Entertainment's previous Fallout New Vegas, which I don't own, but I can say it's a decent game of this type.

I pretty much skipped the 8th generation, so now I'm going to go back and play the games I can for the Xbox One, and I will probably grab a PS4 on the cheap and do the same sometime. I will say this, the graphics in this game are weird. I found them disorienting at first, because of, well, I'm not sure if it's the motion blur effect, or another effect that made the graphics have this weird plastic look. I don't know if it's an Unreal Engine 4 thing, or if it's just one of the setting in this game. I did eventually adjust to it, however.
