The Odyssey is a cinematic masterpiece. It’s an epic on the largest scale, completely engrossing you as the audience from start to finish.
The cast is amazing. Great performances all around, from the smallest roles all the way up to the starring roles with Matt Damon. Everyone buys in. Everyone plays their part so well.
Practical effects or whatever CGI was used were excellent. Blended seamlessly. Every bit of this movie felt real.
Christopher Nolan has taken an impossible to film story and nailed it in under 3 hours, with perfect pacing and not a dull moment in the entire run time.
Miserable people will complain about this movie without having seen it. The trolls will be out in full force. Ignore them. Go experience this movie on a huge screen with an audience and enjoy that we have such great artists making epics like this.
