Expanding a little on picking a therapist
- You can have a dialog with potential therapists about their approach or theoretical orientation. You can probably also find out some of this from profiles they have on relevant websites, like your healthcare provider or network.
- It's also okay to ask them what they would regularly be expecting from you, and what you can expect from them. Like, what would a usual appointment consist of?
Clarifying the materialism thing: I didn't bring it up, but the brain is in the bio part of bio-psycho-social. So focusing on the brain for consciousness isn't implying that I'm ignoring other facets when looking at larger topics.
This video was done with a bit of a potato-cam, but also using the beta for Nvidia's Broadcast suite. Technically it's not a green screen behind me, but the AI doing it's best to replace the background. I think it probably works better under more normal light conditions, but I was having some issues with it not quite grabbing the foreground correctly. Not sponsored or anything, just wanted to explain some of the gesture clipping.
