Dr. Gabs Fox (Ruth Madeley)—a forensic psychologist using a wheelchair after a life-changing car crash—begins a new job at a high-security psychiatric hospital during a severe summer heatwave. She is assigned to 17-year-old Bethany Krall (India Amarteifio), who was institutionalized for the brutal murder of her mother. Bethany claims she is innocent and insists she possesses psychic abilities, drawing chilling visions of the future that begin to come true. As Gabs digs deeper, she uncovers a dark conspiracy connecting Bethany’s religious leader father, a shady corporate energy cover-up, and widespread environmental anxiety.
