Tonight's lyric Concert, presented by Paul Herriott live from the National Concert Hall, Dublin will be broadcast live to listeners all around Europe as part of the European Broadcasting Union's Premium Concert Season. The world premiere of Irish composer John Kinsella's 11th symphony continues his life-long love for the evocative soundworld of Sibelius and the programme also features Sibelius' 3rd symphony. Pianist Vadym Kholodenko joins the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jean Deroyer for a performance of Prokofiev's 3rd piano concerto.
