This October, RTÉ lyric fm celebrates Black History Month. As an ode to the remarkable legacy of Black composers, conductors and performers - we tell the stories of their lives highlighting their unique musical gift. Every day this month, you will hear prominent musical figures honouring the lives of these Black musicians. RTÉ lyric fm is proud to address the lack of representation in classical music - from the classroom to the concert hall and champions diversity in support of Black History Month.
