A story from a moment in history! On Sunday 2 April 1967 our Ivatt tank 41312 hauled the last passenger train over the Lymington branch, marking the end of branch line steam for BR. Today we chat to Paul Warr, a regular fireman on the branch who worked on the last day of steam operation, to hear his story!

41312 will be running during our upcoming spring steam gala carrying a replica of the headboard made for that final train, providing a wonderful recreation of those last days.
