With 506 temporarily out of service, we took the opportunity to catch up with Neil, the Urie Loco Society Chairman (who you may recognise from the carriage works!) to find out a little bit more about what work is going on and give you a sneak peek of the livery 506 will be wearing when it rolls back out of the shed!
We also find out more about the progress being made with 499 including its brand new tender and an innovative fundraising proposal!
