Track 110: Nier / Chaos
Back in Shibuya, the police are trying to keep some semblance of order, but the station refuses to send backup. A radio broadcast declares that the situation has escalated to a Level 1 emergency. The police radio in to explain the situation, trying to keep people out of the area, but the station tells him that the Legion threat has been eliminated and there's nothing more to discuss. The police on site try to get an explanation, but the call is cut off and the officer attacked. His dying thoughts are that the station was correct; it's not Legion. It's the Red Eye.
The army communicates to headquarters that they've lost contact with the officers on sight, but can confirm that Red Eyes, referred to as Specimen B, has been spotted-- and it's apparently grown since they originally captured it, from eight meters to nearly twenty. Headquarters informs the army that they are to prioritize the safe capture of Specimen B, and that collateral damage (that is, civilian casualties) are to be expected. The solid attempts to remind headquarters that they are dealing with Red Eye and they are probably going to die. Headquarters shrugs.
Meanwhile, the evacuation line has reached Nier and Yonah, and they are trying desperately to get out of the area. Because of the rapidly deteriorating situation, however, they wind up separated in the crowd.
