Playing Gen 3 Pokemon as a kid gave me a legendary reverence for Deoxys. It was this rumored and otherworldly force in the card game and anime, but there wasn't a trace of it in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire or FireRed and LeafGreen. I have always been a huge fan because of this, but more recently gained a respect for the brilliant symbols present in its design and encounter. I never got to do this event as a kid, but I really wish I could have. That's probably the only bad thing about it. Mudkip couldn't possibly contend with this. This one's for all the Jumpluff, Spearow, and Treecko fans out there.
