Nessie, the celebrated Loch Ness Monster purportedly living in Loch Ness of the Scottish Highlands, has been the subject of various sighting claims since 1933. Over the decades, many have sought her out, but none have ever been able to definitively prove her existence.
Note that this program was made in 1996. The search for Nessie continues well into the 21st century, and the most recent DNA survey of Loch Ness in search of unusual species conducted in 2018 has not been any more successful at finding Nessie than any previous searches.
