"The Loch Ness Horror" (1982) is a belated cash-in on the late '70s Nessie fascination; believe it or not, this might just be Larry Buchanan's "finest" genre film (don't get your hopes up, it's still very much an appalling movie). Although the movie itself is quite obscure today (rarely seen since its big-box video releases went out of print, and since the USA Network stopped showing this kind of, well, _shit_ in the '80s), this trailer is fondly recalled by all of us who grew up with the "Fantastic Dinosaurs of the Movies" trailer compilation.
Is this the great, mighty voice of Burr Hoyle Middleton we're hearing? I sure think so. Middleton had done "Goodbye, Norma Jean" and "Mistress of the Apes" with Larry Buchanan not too long before this film was shot _and_ was a prolific voiceover talent. Too bad he couldn't loop his voice for actor Barry Buchanan in the film itself.
