"Behind the Screen" was a half hour series hosted by John Burke that ran on American Movie Classics from 1999 to 2002. I think it was presented weekly. The episode promoted here, scheduled to air October 29, 2000 at 7:30 pm, was part of that year's MonsterFest-ivities. Like MonsterFest hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Linda Blair, Burke also taped some Halloween material for this episode at Universal Hollywood Studios. This was the year that AMC went all-out with the Universal monsters and held a contest for tickets to the 2001 premiere of "The Mummy Returns."
