"Backstory" was an AMC original series in the '90s and early 2000s (the upcoming episode repeatedly plugged during the MonsterFest marathon was about "Peyton Place"), but it was also whittled down to these sub-five-minute filler segments between movies. Here, of course, is a segment on Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein," with many comments from Teri Garr.
Originally recorded October 29, 2000 before 5:30 am EST on EP-mode VHS; transferred in 2025 over S-video from a Mitsubishi HS-U746 VCR to DVD-R on Panasonic DMR-ES15.
