A playthrough of Virgin's 1995 license-based, repugnant piece of shovelware trash for the NES, Disney's The Lion King.
Played on the default "prince" difficulty level.
The Lion King is a port of a 1994 Game Boy game (youtu.be/L9Ar76Mrqcw), which was an adaptation of the hit 16-bit game (youtu.be/ou_pHMmDE5Q). It was also a PAL-exclusive, and the NES's final official release.
As you can see, despite having been approved by both Virgin and Disney, it's a total sham of a game. If only the story ended there.
It also has an "Easter egg" that was inserted by some smug, sick fuck who thought that'd it'd be cute to celebrate his love of little boys, and who had the audacity to include it thinking that nobody would ever discover his little declaration. Quotes of Bible verses are buried in the game's code, too, and in context, they make this all the more disturbing.

People who abuse children are the lowest of the low (aren't they, America?), and Disney is a disgusting corporate entity that has long put their bottom line ahead of what's decent and right (ain't that right, Jimmy?). I have no desire to make money off the back of something like this, so I'm not turning the ads on for this video. I'm just documenting the game and spreading the word.
