Last year, Sylvania asked me to build a machine that showed how their products could be used in all kinds of different environments, while incorporating their lightbulbs and other products as much as possible. I built the machine by myself over the span of 10 days, and it ended up being over 2 minutes long. I never ended up uploading the machine as it's own video until now, but I'm really proud of how it turned out!

The machine was designed to take you through vignettes of settings where Sylvania's products are used, including Office, Retail/Grocery, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, and Hospitality. It was a challenge getting each section to look believably like the right setting, but with large props like the office desk, the bookshelf, the copier, the whiteboard, etc., I think the final result is successful. Despite this being a professional project, I still tried to incorporate mostly original tricks, even if they are on the simpler side. The machine was decently reliable; we were able to get multiple successful runs all the way through the machine on filming day, plus my own footage with less signage (this video). Overall, easily my favorite professional project I've done so far, in no small part because of Glen Gracia, who hired me for this project and oversaw the build from start to finish. Glen was so passionate about the project and devoted to making it the best it could be in every way.
