For the 9th year in a row, the fight is on yet again in the battle of chain reaction art! This year, I go head-to-head with one of the most innovative minds in all of domino art: @micajodomino. Will Machines come out on top? Or have I met my match against the sheer insanity of these domino clips? You be the judge!

Overall, I'm very pleased with the tricks I built this year. After losing the first half of September to my recent move, I was worried I'd have to cut corners to finish all my clips, but I think all of them turned out well, even (especially?) the ones that were "rushed".
Compared to last year, I think there are fewer crazy insane sudden motions, and more tricks that are cool for other reasons, but I think it's a change for the better. I'm especially proud of clips like the Zigzag Board Escapement Car and Collapsing Zigzag Tracks because of their concepts and execution, even if the motions themselves aren't blow-your-socks-off insane.
Another new thing this year are some clips with some additional arts-and-crafts decoration elements (the spikes/danger signs in Looping Pendulum and the hypnotic swirl in Resetting Circular Billiard Ball Chain). This is the kind of thing I'd like to add to my machines more often, and I'm starting to find more and more ways to do it. Keep an eye out for things like this to become more integrated into my style in the future!
If you're wondering what the miscellaneous objects are in the background of the Anagram Decoder clip, there are 3 other pairs of words that are anagrams of each other, one on each side of the decoder, just like how HEART turns into EARTH. The extra anagrams aren't easy, but they serve as a bonus puzzle for those who want to figure them out! (See bottom of description for the answers)

First of all, HUGE thanks to @WebGuy1000 for working with me on this project. (And putting up with me. Im a huge perfectionist, so Im sure it wasnt always easy.) I really respect him as a domino artist, and I think he is one of the best builders right now. It was truly an honor working with him. That being said, I hope machines wins. ;)
For the past 4-5 weeks, I have been working almost nonstop to create 12 machine clips. Last year, Dominoes vs. Machines was my best video, so I wanted that to be the case this year as well. I wanted every single clip to showcase a trick or idea nobody had ever seen before. I wanted to include a ton of multiple-use elements and never-before-seen track tricks. And I think I accomplished that.

![The LEGO Machine
For the first machine of RGMay, I made a LEGO-themed machine! I incorporated three LEGO models into the machine, including two train cars, the Mini Cooper, and a wind-up truck. The main problem I had during building was that I was using a lot of large models that moved, so I limited myself with the space I could use. I overcame this by adding a large track over the top, and a board that falls down. Theming the machine was easy! I just printed out a couple of pictures and placed them around the machine. Then, I took 20 LEGO series minifigures and placed them around the machine as well. For a challenge, see if you can find all 20 of them!
The machine only took 45 fails, which isnt too bad for me these days. The most problematic part of this machine (the part that failed the most) was the two train cars. They would often collide with each other as they came down, or only the first one would get released. There were even a few times where the second one ran out of energy, and didnt even make it to the bottom of the track! The cup was the only other problematic part, but after a minor redisign, it worked fairly consistently. Other than that, though, the machine worked pretty well.
This machine is the first one for this month. For the month of May, I am making two Rube Goldberg machines for a school project. This is the first, and the second one will come out later in the month.
