Over July I was lucky enough to be able to visit Japan and have a bit of a mooch on their world-leading trains in terms of service quality, reliability and punctuality.
Included here is some shots from Shiroishi Station, in Sapporo, Japan with a huge variety of trains. We conclude the video by visiting a level crossing that gained the Japanese nickname "The crossing that never opens" as it never seems to open...
