Benchmarking the Intel Core i3-14100F - among the last CPUs to bear the i3 brand - using DDR4 and DDR5 memory in intensive modern games.
The i3-14100F is one of the last CPUs in the hugely successful Core i series, and despite the switch to Core Ultra branding starting in 2024, you can still buy an i3 today in 2026. In fact, despite the LGA 1851 and upcoming LGA 1954 sockets effectively replacing the old 1700 and helping bury the Core i series altogether, you might still want to buy into the old platform for one reason - DDR4 RAM.
