Also called the "2 Needle Cast On", the knitted cast on is one of the most common ways for knitters to add stitches to their needles at the beginning of their project. This is most likely to be because if you know how to do a knit stitch, then you already know most of the steps of this cast on :)

I'll be showing you step-by-step how to do this casting on method, plus I'll be showing you how it looks when completed, and what difference it makes to the edge if you change the orientation of the stitch.
