Now this song which thou beholdest was wrought from Nate’s vexation of spirit. For his companions and fellows in music would oft entreat him, saying unto him that he should bridle his tongue and shape his speech in a manner more pleasing to polite company. Yet Nate, being a man of bold tongue and merry voice, would sing along with great vigor to his favored tune, a hit song brought forth in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and eighty-two, entitled: “I Feel Like Slapping a N… Today.”
